Royson’s Automotive was born out of a lifelong passion for cars and a deep commitment to doing things the right way. Bobby Royson began his journey in 1978, working alongside his father at a family-run gas station. After working for several major auto service companies and gaining decades of experience, Bobby and his wife Cindy decided it was time to bring their vision to life. In 2003, they opened the first Royson’s location in Blythewood, SC, with a mission rooted in quality service and honest work.

From the start, their mission has been simple: treat people right, fix cars honestly, and build lasting relationships. Today, Royson’s has grown to include the Columbia location, opened in 2013, and the Chapin location, opened in 2018. Still family-owned and operated, we maintain the same values we began with: integrity, transparency, and a focus on providing reliable auto repair to every customer who walks through the door.
