What an amazing customer service experience on Dec 31, 2024 at the Royson's Blythewood location by Angelo and John… thank you! While driving on I-77 north from Gilbert/Lexington near Blythewood, heading back to PA, the tire pressure monitoring system went off showing a problem with my VW GTI’s right front tire. Not thinking it was an urgent issue, I still got off at the next exit Route 21/Davis Blvd to check the tire pressure. I first stopped at QT, never got out of my car, seeing their air compressor was out of order. I went next door to the Shell station and seeing a VERY LOW tire, I attempted to fill it with air. I quickly realized it had a severe puncture and air was flowing out - I could hear the loud hissing! Not sure what to do next - thinking the day was lost, but we prayed for the best - I noticed Royson's and walked over. I met Angelo and explained the situation. He said to bring the car over. I figured it would take hours before they got to us, but within a minute of parking the car, Angelo motioned for me to pull up to the garage. He quickly assessed the situation and their ability to make a repair. He asked John to work on the tire and within a few minutes the tire was securely repaired to get us back on the road… they also checked/set the pressure on the other 3 tires. We lost maybe 15-20 minutes from our initial ETA back to PA… after a punctured tire… wow!! Best automotive repair service in more than 30 years owning cars! My wife and I felt the tire was safe the entire 9+ hour drive home. The way that morning went and how the chain of events occurred - we both believe it was a blessing to stop next to Royson's and meet both Angelo and John. Thank you Royson's. Thank you Angelo and John, many thanks and prayers to you both for a blessed 2025 and beyond!

They treat us like family. Always asking about my Daughter's truck and asking to look it over when she is in town. Since they know she is driving it two hours each way to school they want to get ahead of anything that my need attention. They absolutely do not do unnecessary work and they have my complete trust when it comes to our vehicles. Very Friendly and fair on pricing. Highly recommend and have always exceeded my expectations. I had been to two other Chapin auto repair shops prior to Royson's. Both of the previous places were a pain to get an appointment to. They made you leave your vehicle all day just for an oil change and tire rotation. Neither if the previous ones were convenient and it didn't bother them to inconvenience you. Royson' was pleasant, able to do the tire rotation and oil change quickly while I waited, which wasn't long. I also had them check my brake pads and rotors when they rotated the tires, the lady in front said they would do that anyway. One of the other places I had taken the vehicle to for rotation stated I needed brake pads and rotors, and would charge well over $500 to replace them and do the work. Royson's mechanics stated the pads were good for another 10,000 mikes at least and have them rechecked then. Royson's also stated there was nothing wrong with the rotors. Royson's Auto Repair in Chapin was very friendly, courteous, honest and efficient, very unlike those other three places in Chapin. Royson's obviously makes their money by being efficient, fair, reasonable and honest, and having repeat business, not buy gouging everyone who comes in, like the others tried to do to me. I have finally found a friendly, good, reputable, fair, reasonable, honest, convenient and efficient place to have my vehicles serviced. Definitely Highly Recommend Royson's and will come back for any future needs. They earned 5 STARS!!!

We had car trouble and had to come off the I77 exit in Blythewood. Turned out the alternator needed to be replaced. They were extremely helpful and provided excellent customer service despite being very busy.

Excellent Service - It is hard to find a good mechanic that you can trust, but Bobby and his team have always taken care of us. I have six trucks that I take to him on a regular basis, and they do a great job. Bobby does not know this, but I have "shopped" his prices a few times (just to keep him honest :-)). However, it was not necessary because he was always the lowest price. We really appreciate all that they do for us. 8 years since my first review, and I still think the world of this place. Royson's is the best automotive repair in the entire Chapin area! They are probably the most honest and reliable mechanics I have ever dealt with! I highly recommend going to Royson's before you go anywhere else. If a repair is going to be expensive, they will be upfront and honest about it and will even recommend possible cheaper workarounds.
